Please join us for the annual Olde Fashioned Picnic. The event is free, is open to all members and their families, and will be held rain or shine. There is plenty of free parking near the shelter. Veteran’s Park is located on the south side of Niagara Street, a quarter mile west of Hinds Street, in the City of Tonawanda.

Please plan to arrive at the park by 6:00 PM so we can eat by 6:30. As is the tradition, the Society will provide the hot dogs, soft drinks, and condiments, but please bring a dish to pass so everyone can enjoy a sample of your favorite picnic recipe. This is always an opportunity to enjoy some wonderful home-made food and relaxed conversation.

To insure adequate provisions, please call or email the Museum no later than Saturday, June 8th to confirm the number of people from your family who will be attending. The Museum telephone number and email address are listed at the bottom of this page. If you call and there is no answer, please leave your name and number of attendees on the answering machine. While a short program is being considered, the focus of the event will be to celebrate another successful season of Historical Society activities and programs, as well as provide a casual atmosphere for an evening of socialization.
