It's Flea Market Time Again

Jul 22, 2015

The society's 2015 Canal Fest Flea Market will be held this Saturday and Sunday, July 25th and 26th at Clinton Park in Tonawanda. Vendor slots are almost sold out, so we expect a good assortment of merchandise to compliment the society's selection of household goods, tools, books, sporting goods, and miscellaneous items you are only likely to find at the annual Flea Market.

Volunteers are always needed to set up on Saturday morning and to help man the society tables during the event. Setup begins at 6:30 AM and the flea market hours are 10 AM until 5 PM on Saturday and 10 AM until 4 PM on Sunday. Additional help is always appreciated on Sunday afternoon to help pack up and close out the event.

The Canal Fest Flea Market raises almost half of the money needed to cover utility expenses at all three society buildings and offers a unique opportunity for members to assist the Historical Society. Whether you help with setup, donate your time to be a clerk to assist customers, or simply visit Clinton Park as a shopper, your support is always sincerely appreciated.

If you are planning to attend Canal Fest this weekend, we will look forward to seeing you at Clinton Park.
