New Construction
New Handicap-accessible Restroom and Museum Entranceway

And The Walls Came Tumbling Down:

As we go to press, we are happy to report that – at long last – construction (or, better said, destruction) has begun for our New York State-funded addition of a handicap-accessible restroom and new entranceway to our museum at 113 Main Street. In late July, construction crews from 34 Inc., the contractor on the project, got things going by taking down two of the back walls that were part of our storage/resource area at the back of the museum. Soon, they will begin the construction of new walls and floors for this long-awaited project. We thought we’d share “before” and “after” views from outside the museum so you can see the progress to date. Stay tuned – more to come in September!
